Yamaha RT1MX

How sweet is this? It's as original example of Yamaha first open classer that you'll see. It's as perfect as I can spot. A steal at $1525 but I predict it'll go for 5-6k.
I actually started serious racing on an absolute exact replica of this bike. It handled like a barge, was as heavy as a Triumph Bonneville and harder to start than any bike I've owned since but damn it was a cool bike. Genuine yellow stripe RT1MXers were rare as shit back then and are almost never seen today. Mine was imported into Australia in pieces packed into one of Ian Geohegans Mustangs. I sold it to a bloke who got pissed one night and wired the throttle on full and launched it into the sea off Maroubra North head. I still get shivers every time I think of that >:(.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Funny i reckon mine is sweet handling, there light enough and easy to ride, infact the seat height and ridability i reckons better than the mx250/360 seat height/ angles.... there like ridding choppers
