not an end of the world price, you could probably put a nice racebike together for under 20 grand..... or 30   ::)

I will wait until I can afford a Summerfield Manx.  ;D

No actually nothing like that, kind of strange collection of eras, with pre 62 engine and pre65 frame with pre 75 suspension travel.  ::)

No I was thinking pre Cheney or Ricky with the correct suspension travel.

Though, if I coughed that much for the motor it would be going in the Norbstar direction with McIntosh Manx kit, AMC close ratio 6 speed, Fontana 4 LS front brake....that should take care of the 30K.

I notice in the goldie parts photo what looks like a parallel crank pin. That was the big weak point in my old X Debbo  Carey B33. it busted average 2or 3 goldie crankpins each season [plus crank cases] till I got old Charlie Ogden to make up a parallel pin. That's why I often wonder what happened to that motor/bike last heard of at Woodstock about '73 cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

This is my Pom mate Bens DB34 Goldy. Ben's a young bloke in his early 30's but built this old girl to race. To balance it out he's got a couple of HLs and a CCM. The Goldy's his favourite though. I reckon the BSA Goldy is the best looking engine of the era.
