Husky TE TC seat help please
« on: August 10, 2010, 09:44:59 pm »
Not Vmx, but would be grateful if any one knows an answer please.

I am going to sell this NEW seat. The dealer told me it was for a latter husky than mine, but it would and did fit my 96 TE610 perfectly, different graphics of course.

I was told it would physically fit as far back as 1993 models.

QUESTION; Does any one know if will fit models latter than 1998 etc ? When was the physical change in the husky line up ?

Thx, Mick.

In 2003 the new 250/450/510 came out so it won't fit any of them and i think the 610 got a facelift then also..

Hey Mick, by the colour and height, it looks like it might be off a '99 TE610E Dual Sport. They went to blue/yellow colours in 2000.
Same base etc as the TE/TC but lower foam up until about 2003 I reckon. Then they changed.

thanks JohnnyO and Tony. I think your right about narrowing it down to a 99 model. I might sit on it for a while. I would love to find a TE610E electric start.

I was online not that long ago, reading a magazine test article on those bikes. I have looked but can’t find the link yet. It said that a US Magazine in about 2003 had voted them the best true ”dual purchase Bike”

The article also went on to say that a bloke in Australia called “Tony T……….”, had proven how good they are, that he had done really well on them in something like enduro safari thing, or something like that.

Is that you they are talking about by any chance Tony?
