Got a Circle F pipe on mine ('76-'78 large flange) & only because I had it sitting around. Most people bag them but I reckon it's great. The bike has a broad powerband (if you can say that about a 125), pulls hard and is not the slightest bit peaky. The engine is standard except for a port clean up, DG head, 30mm Mikuni with power jet and 14/52 gearing. Most of the comments I get are how fast the bike is and how "meaty" it sounds. I'm told it's hard to improve on the standard '76-'78 Honda production pipe though.
Cheers,
K

The first 125M I rode had a DG pipe on it and it ran strong. When I built one for myself I put a Vintage Iron pipe on it because it was available at the time and this pipe I really like, especially if you keep the muffler well packed. A while ago I was told the the best performing pipe was the Proform Rev-pipe, apparently a copy of an FMF. So I got one but was disappointed and felt the Vintage  Iron one worked better. Proform make several different 125M pipes, so maybe another one is worth a try. I'll try mine again with another motor one day, see if I can dial it in better.

It's pretty easy to do if you know why they work well, I just mocked a pipe for the CR 125M up so watch this space.
