Loz the thing is..it doesn't really matter if they are the biggest scam of the past quarter century..the fact is right now they are hot property and very desirable to a lot of people recreating the era. A trick head has always been a trick head and something many people wanted regardless of the actual facts or any massive power gain misconceptions  :) $15 for a barrel and a DG head thrown in!!..an absolute bargain!!!

Yep and people actualy stay up and watch Big Brother and buy Justin Timberlake CD's ??? ??? ???However ebay bidders constantly catch gold fever when one comes up, and realisticly the silly money would be far more cost effective if they went to a riding school. A fair price then Betric. ;D
BTW
I met a fellow who had a weathered black "Betric Racing" jersey, he reckoned it was from some back in the day  race team that was sponsored by a private hospital of all things. Is that you????

I found a near new DG head and S/H stock bore YZ125X barrel for $15 at the Cessnock swap meet last year, I was looking in the right place, at the right time, the old guy I brought the head & barrel from did not have clue what he had, had to keep my jaw from hitting the ground when he said $15 :o, also was given another DG head for a late air cooled YZ80 a few weeks ago that a friend had lying around in his shed, it was no use to him as he has Suzuki's, it was given to him years ago.
hey betric...did you see that brand new suzuki RM250A tank at cessnock swap meet last year ....

Lozza yes I rode for the team in 1981 on YZ's, the owner of the team had a family run private hospital for old people in the inner suburbs of Sydney plus a wheat farm up at Tamworth with MX and SHORT CIRCUT tracks that we practise on ;D, the owner passed away a few years ago I think with alzimers ???

I saw that RM tank a few years before at the Bathust swap meet it was much cheaper, should have brought it then.
