G`day marshallmech, would be interested in your pipe, I think the after market pipes do away with the ATAC manifold, do you now if this is correct? must use some sort of flange to mount the pipe, maybe a 83 flange? Has anyone got any info on this. Thanks Birko

Hey Dude,

Yes you are correct they do away with the atac canister, I have a procircuit on my 84 it was shipped without the adapter flange to my dismay. But was lucky enough to email procircuit and have one sent out DHL.

Good luck finding one.

The pipe I have has got a very large intake that looks like it will go on the attac tube.
I will try and get some shots up in the next few days.

The ATAC is a 'claytons'  power valve, which superceded it. Thankfuly now we understand more and the advantages of the ATAC system.Beauty is it will only have 1 moving part.
On Randy Norians RG500 delta website he tests the Suzuki version of ATAC(strangely only fitted to the RG road bikes) on the dyno. Filled in the bottom end of the curve nicely.
