I recently cut the ends of a PE250 Suzuki Sparkster with the intent of doing and repack and recap as shown in the very helpfull thread "Silencer Repair for Dummies" by Ji Gantor. After removing the ends i found the suzuki sparkster is a totally different design. Can someone inform me how these things work and how I go about repackig it. Also is the end in picture 2 supposed to be completely full of fibreglass packing? I should mention when i cut off the end in photo 2 a ring the diameter of the muffler and about 10mm wide fell out that was rattling around in there.
