Looking, looking...1978 GS 250
« on: July 09, 2010, 02:05:23 pm »
A mate badly needs a KTM 250 GS 1978.
I sold him mine 'back in the day', he thrashed it, restored it and leant it to his brother as we were on 1981 GS 350's by then. First ride out, we roosted off, hmmm, no brother. Go back, see smoke through the trees and the flaming thing is alight and he's scooping mud on it trying to put it out!!!! Helmets of water from the creek did no good and all that magnesium went up like a rocket!
It must have burnt a hole in his heart and memory 'cause now he wants one.
Any leads guys?

No '78 GS250's, only 2 x '81 MC250 & 2 x '84 MC495 at the moment. Jeff David still has a '79 GS250 which is for sale every now & again.
Cheers,
K

Hey Wasp,
Yes he is, he just bought a bunch of bits from Jaydee to start the project. All help greatfully accepted.
