Help for shipping from the USA
« on: June 23, 2010, 10:35:39 pm »
Hi,
I have picked up a less than perfect sidecover for my YZ250J from a US ebay seller located in Anderson CA USA, he is quoting me US$50 to post to Sydney Australia, is there anyone in the US who could receive this item from the seller and on forward to me at a more realistic price ??

Cheers
Stewart

Stewart, hit him up again and tell him the cover should fit into a $13 prepaid box or envelope. Failing that, I'll check with my mate to see if he can do it for you. The only hitch is that I think he's still on holidays in Belize.

Keep in mind that that side cover is a bit long. It probably won't fit in any pre-paid envelopes that the post office offers. He could stick it in a bubble mailer and send it first class mail. Would only cost about $10 or $15 USD. Priority mail in a bubble mailer would run about $30 USD. If he boxes it up, probably around $40 in postage alone.

also keep in mind that sending stuff out of the usa can be a pain in the butt stood in a line in vagas 2004 for over 30min then had to fill out a customs form.most ebay sellers charge for that
