Maico forks

Can some one help me with some info about forks ,i need to no if Maico forks vary from 1972 (radial) to 1974.5 GP .i.e  the fork tube diameter, overall length, travel and visual  differences.

They're identical to look at externally but the 74.5 has 7" travel over 6" for the pre 73 models. The dampeners are an inch (aprox) longer.
