Can anyone provide me with some good tips regarding 82 Maico forks? They seem identical to the 81 forks on the diagrams. What is the deal with having the two top out springs? It seems to reduce the amount of travel by about 3 inches. I can remember reading somewhere that you should remove the lighter spring and replace the main springs with new ones about 5 inches longer than stock? Any advice in setting up these things would be most welcome.
