CD 7 Review
« on: May 26, 2010, 12:34:24 pm »
I have been lucky enough to get to a couple of Classic Dirts over the years including last year which was sensational. I can't make it this year due to some OS travel. I have always enjoyed the review in the following edition of VMX but it always leaves me wanting more. As its VMX rags signature event I reckon we should beg (I'm being pathetic I know!) VMX to at least devote half of Issue 42 to an expanded coverage. Hell I would be happy to even pay some more to cover the production costs for the extra photos and shiny paper. Cheers Jerry

Sorry but Issue 42 will be out before CD7

Sorry I meant issue 43. Maybe a yearly stand alone collectors edition? Jerry

 Just a Suggestion

     Do a special CD7 pictorial???

Yes- the Suzuki Line Up. From the first to the latest 2010 (Ad for Suzuki)

     Yes- with Garage Queens

     Yes- with the Odd Bikes

Yes -the Most Important is the Mr. No body Bikes.

Yes - The Night Life ..

yes -a big Pump up of the Sponsors

All for     $20  pre booked and paid for at CD7 Money in the Bank before you go to print.
and then on to the Newsagent for the Blokes who missed Out on the Top weekend ..

If you guys want more coverage, you will have to comb your hair, brush your teeth and stop standing around in small groups with cheezy expressions on your faces clutching cold beers…

Last year Billy supplied 1716 photos [I know because I had to look at each and every one of them - more than once] of CD6 and at least 1000 of them were you guys standing around looking like you had just been rescued from 3 years on a desert island. Come on, you have to make an effort!!

I am not sure the world is ready for a VMX CD7 mega issue filled with your smiling faces. What kind of image of Australia would that show to the world?  :D

What about a DVD with all the highlights and the lowlights. Interviews with suitably legendary figures and riders. Maybe Conondale shire or whatever they call themselves could be approached from a tourism angle for production funding / grant. Dont ask dont get............. Cheers Jerry

Boy you guys don't want much do you.

A special issue of VMX solely devoted to CD7 and now a DVD as well… anything else?  :D
