In the early sixties on ABC TV [Sydney] every monday night there was a show called "sports cavalcade" This was compiled from various sporting events on the weekend. These were all on 16mm film I believe and were held for years in ABC's library. Very likely only a fraction of what was filmed went to air. I being curious made enquiries of ABC re the fate of the films a lot of which were segments covering Moorebank scramble meetings and other M/C events .The time was just after ABC started their ABC shops. The person said she believed all the 16mm stuff went to the National Sound and Film archives. Hopefully some influential [money] go-getter could make enquiries and do something with them?
