Hey marcFX, Jason is a good mate of mine, did you race him here in WA or on the East coast?

In WA, I think I was just making up the numbers and he was the fast guy. At the time he was state 250 champion.

Ok, we have possibly lined up together at some stage then. the 'goose' is still keen on bikes and coaches one of the better 250f guys in WA now. Hasn't ridden much since breaking both femurs a few years ago and that was on top of have both hips replaced 12 months before that. Keeps talking about maybe getting a 144/150 2 stroke to play on.

When I first started racing it was Les Barfoot and Lucas Reynolds both on trick RM's sponsored by Triple C.
In the eighties it was Pete Whitington and Mal Watson and about 30 other guys.I did hold Pete off for 2 laps once - that was like winning the race to me.

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

I made the Final of the feature race at Toowoomba mountain man in 1988 given the class field Dack, Bell, Andrewss etc . I remember Bell was only 2 gates down on the start and I stuck with him all the way thou the first few corners and then worked my way back in the pack. I finished like 18th but was happy.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle
