Ladies first ;D
Can-Am (Canada 1973 - 1987).
The Cam-Am bikes where launched in 1973 by the large Canadian company Bombardier. During the 70's they had some success in American motocross with riders such as: Marty Tripes, Gary Jones and and Jim Ellis. Former motocross legend and champion Jeff Smith (Great Britain) where contracted to develop the bikes. He fought hard to convince the Bombardier factory how to build a bike. The Can-Am production was transferred to England in a later state. The British Armstrong factory continued to produce Can-Am bikes up until 1987. The Can-Am's where surrounded by all sorts of myths regarding their power output, works suspension and such. The truth is that the Can-Am bikes where a bit behind when it came to handling and overall quality. The most innovative part was probably the rotary intake valved Rotax engine that produced some healty power.

Here's two of the Marque kicking up dust in SE Qld last year (Tamborine & Rocksberg).
Back in the day I'd only seen them in the US magazines with Jim Ellis on board - they haven't bred here to Maico proportions but there are a few around.

All of Cullys spares where brought by Reidy up in Northam who had  some TNT model bikes
then he on sold all spares and bikes to John Boag in Victoria who still racing TNT model in pre 74
I can help out with a TNT motor if required along the way

Cheers
