Funny how things move around.
I sold that arm in Aust. but I know it was going to be shipped to the US but it's now in the UK.
I have talked with guys in the US in the past who have my frames that I shipped to the UK

I once predicted that the Postal system was doomed when e-mail started, I didn't think anybody would be sending very much by post in the future.
I reckon there's more parcels being sent now than ever before, and not because the world population has grown.

That is true. the local Post Office woman tells me that letters are now a rarity worthy of comment, whereas parcels continue to overflow the system.

I put in some part time night sorter work towards the end of my worklife and it's a definite fact that letters are on the decline. Bills and invoices however still fill the void! :'(  My parcel guy has been contracting to OzPost for years and he reckons eBay and other online auction and retail outlets helped save Australia Post when the snail mail letter became redundant. In the USA, UPS, DHL and FedEx have taken a huge lump of the parcel pie from the USPS which is running at huge losses because of it. Those companies haven't managed to infiltrate the Oz market as successfully as they have in Europe and the USA but if they do we'll se some serious changes in the way we send packages.
