What's happening with Conondale

I heard that the Sunshine coast club had lost control of Conondale circuit. Fact or fiction???
The rumour was that another club branch stacked and had them voted out so they could control the events up there-what's the go?

no different to any other club when their is a change of committee at the AGM, David Garry is still President, and all the old faces are still there. so i think it's a bit of ficton and all is ok.

Connondale circuit still home to SCMCC.Some new faces on the committeelooking to run more club events in the limited calender that is available to them (12 days a year I think).

So with a new commitee is there any hope of us having the sidecar spectacular there now or do I keep looking for another venue?

I raced a club day modern meeting there last week and they also had a pre '90 class.
It was a great meeting on an excellent track using the hills at both ends of the circuit but but the pre '90 class only had 13 starters.. where was everyone??

EML I could be wrong but I'd say all dates are filled this year.As for next year,join the que:doesn't hurt to ask though.

I did ask 3 months ago but it seems they don't want our dollars.
Now have replies from Echo Valley and Tivoli so we'll have to see if the ASA boys want a mountain adventure or a real nostalgia trip in Ippy.

money cant buy everything, maybe it's because their planning is well over 12 months in advance as they can only hold so many events there in a year.

Yes Mr Worms, you are correct, but I was asking 12 months out but as you say with a small windoe to work in it was a bit of a shot in the dark-so to speak.
It was because I was asked to ask that I did ask.
