With the new Pre85 club formed in WA, comes new ideas to promote the sport, well an idea stolen from the eastern states, but at least we are trying!!lol
"A DAY IN THE DIRT"



August 21st & 22nd “A Day in the Dirt” – The Pre85MXWA Club in conjunction with Beverley Districts Motocross Club are planning on hosting "A Day in the Dirt." We would like to invite all motocross enthusiast  members to participate and take those bikes out that are hidden away in sheds. The concept behind this is for us Western Australians to enjoy our own version of the highly successful format that is Classic Dirt, an event that most of you will know is held in the Eastern States. It will be a great way to meet new people and or enjoy the company of your existing fellow riders. The order of the 2 day event will be along the following lines:-

a.       Non-Competitive Riding Sessions Saturday Afternoon and Sunday

b.      Swap Meet

c.       Static Displays

d.      Band in Beverley on the Saturday night with bus transfers from the track to town and return

e.      Camping at the track with catering

f.        Catering for all classes form Pre 60 to Pre 85.

What a great opportunity to visit Western Australia.

I work shift work, so I've basically booked all of August off to accommodate a great month of Vintage MX.  That's vintage, not pre75 or pre 85 but the all of it.

Could be the start of something big in WA on an annual basis
