Going back to the original pre 70 resto on my trackmaster ( semi retiring it) so im wanting to swap out genuine current tracky coffin tank for the ealrier tear drop or breadbox tank. OR failing that Sell this original Tank and seat set up to fund purchasing a new tank.
This Glass is in good original used condition and still in orignal 70's maroon paint with gold strips ( thought many times about painting it but i had friko's Patina" ringing in my head. And sure enough it is a cool well loved paint job, still has original Castol sticker on the tail and Wingfield cup sticker on the tank. If i can remember the rider name ill post it, but i think he was #63 from memory and it was on a truimph or YAm miler, then was stored after 78 ish, but id have to go back over my stuff to be sure. But it does have history if that counts for anything.
these tanks and tails use a centre mount clip so they fit on any frame, so will run from the small 125 up to the Xs 650 / XS1 based bikes, will obviously fit straight onto a TRackmaster or Shell frame, but really put a centre clip with a worn drive clamp on your main frame and your in ....... tail fenders also fit most so long as you dont have a high loop they are wide enough to cover em.
Wanting to a Swap for another centre mount Tear drop tank, or open to selll this complete set if someone is doing a Dirt track project currenty and you can help me fund a new tank ( as i will be using a solo seat and fender on my Neil keen Repro, bloody neil talked me into it.)
New tanks are $220 and tail fenders $100, plus $80 shipping plus your paint - so this might be a cheaper option to get your project off the ground and with that Real Authentic pre raced vintage look
