Second round of International Rider Grants now open
Applications for the second round of Motorcycling Australia’s (MA) International Competition Riders Grants are now open for riders to apply for financial assistance, up to $5000, to compete in international competition/s in 2010.

Riders from all disciplines who are interested in applying for the grants must be competing in events from 1 July 2010 - 31 December 2010, and grant application forms are available from the MA website at www.ma.org.au/grants.

Earlier this year $10,000 in International Rider Grants were allocated to seven riders to help them compete overseas in the disciplines of Enduro, Road Racing, Moto Trials, Quad Racing and Track.

Applications close on Friday 28 May 2010 and completed forms should be sent by mail, fax or email to: Sam Ryan
Motorcycling Australia
PO Box 134
South Melbourne
VIC 3205
[email protected]
Fax: 03 9684 0555

Applications will be assessed on criteria contained under the General Selection Policy found in Chapter 29 of MA’s 2010 Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

Results obtained in International meetings, Australian Championships and National level events will be taken into consideration when granting financial assistance.

In order to compete in international competitions, riders must hold a current FIM licence and insurance to the appropriate FIM standard.

If you require more information about FIM licences and insurance, check out the Competition section on the MA website at www.ma.org.au/competition.
Best is in the West !!
