CR 480
« on: March 24, 2013, 12:39:24 pm »
Hi guys, I have recently jigged for the CR 480.
The pipes and mufflers are different part No’s between the 2 480 models so can you guys tell me if there is any difference it fitment between the 82 & 83 CR 480’s?
I assume the same pipe and muffler will fit both okay??

Also I notice that the CR 450 and 82 CR 480 share the same muffler, so will this chamber also fit the CR 450?

The bike I jigged from had an alloy tank fitted, just need to check that the pipe will clear the plastic tank okay and we’re good to go.

I think the '83 exhaust system had a different joint position between pipe and silencer due to the removable sub frame. They whole '82 system may be interchangeable but would be a pain to use the removable sub frame.
It's been a few years since I had one though, I maybe off the mark.
