Hi everyone, thank you for letting me be part of your forum. I have been kept entertained reading your comments and seeing the great photo's. Fitness unfortunatley has past me by in the last ten years or so but I am still keen to restore something and come and have some fun. I have an AW400 that needs a total top to bottom resto and this will be the year. I hope you guys may be able to advise me where to source some of my much needed parts. Does anyone know if it's posible to still get an original pipe for a 77 AW400?

Regards.

Thanks Paul. I hope I have broad enough shoulders to take the flack. I have added a link to a photo of my Maico when it was new.

Yeah. Dunno where the "Stan" comes from? That's him alright. #79......  :D

Hey Stan. Would that Mk 9 have had "Retravision" on the tank would you remember? We had a Bulty like that in the early 80's and I'm wondering if it was the same bike.  :-\

Gday 414, I can't remember about the Retravision sticker, but it does ring a bell though. I am rebuilding a CR250M motor for him at the moment so I will ask him and get back to you.

It was actually painted on. I notice another Bulty in that pic. It may have been it. Couldn't have been too many around at the time I would imagine....
