IT175 finds new home
« on: January 29, 2010, 02:01:17 pm »
Was down at Mums near Tamworth the other day when we discovered an IT175 80 model on a neighbours place. The deal was if I could fit it on the ute then It was mine....................

You just never know where they turn up do you but its a goer and will be at the masters games Vinduro!

It was unfortunate that you had to leave the wife and her suit cases on the side of the road to get the bike to fit, but a challenge is a challenge and man has got to do what a man has to do.  ;D.

Congrats on 'seeing the light' ;D.

Ahhh you assume incorrectly that a weekend involving 9 yo son his DRZ70 and a trip to Grans involves the wife. It was a mental health weekend, shootin' shit, bikes and 3000 acres of nowhere. Just with a bonus issue of the IT find.
Should be a sweet bike, I always heard they were a good thing?

Yeah, well, my weekend was just like that, but I also found a new TM300, and some guy gave me a million dollars. And I picked up a couple of cute Swedish hitch-hikers who insisted on 'payment' for the lift. One of them even knew about two stroke theory, and she got all my bikes running as sweet as, and has organised the Ohlins factory to send me over a pallet load of shocks for my bikes.
And on the way home, they were having a sale and I bought a brand new ute for just $50. And they even gave me $5000 trade in for me old ute!
So there!

PS: I hate you. :)

Not at all.
But you were rubbing it in, so I had to say something... :)
