RM125M crank pin
« on: January 10, 2010, 08:29:38 pm »
Does anyone know why there is a different crank pin on the RM125M to the 1976 TS125A? is it to do with oil distribution between the premix RM and CCI TS? The con rod, crankshaft halves and big end bearing all have the same part numbers between the two models but not the crank pin.
Or did Suzuki just need to keep the bean counters happy and use up an obsolete part from the parts bin before fully moving onto an improved item.

Same pin, different number. Don't know why but it remains unchanged thru to '78 ;)
