thanks, i will look into it. will it have the same spline and the same bends?
i dont want something that looks out of place or isnt going to clear the fins on the barrel.
i still rather get the yz one same type as i have already if i can.

The monoshock DT one fits straight on. Compared to a YZ one, it doesn't fold in quite as far (not a problem though!) and probably weighs a bit more.
They don't look out of place.
Being new, they're also a lot less likely to break, and won't tend to flop out like a 33 year old original...

New genuine DT175 levers are about $80. You can still get new YZ125D/E levers from the USA, but they're a long way over your budget.

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

have looked at a couple of aftermarket ones but they dont have the couple of bends in it that keeps it
nice and tight to the engine like the one thats on it now, can get a straight dt type for like $40.
new 77 yz125 would cost me 140 + $20 for spring/washer plate.. as you would probably know, yamaha like to sell parts individually.
thats why i thought my offer of up to $80 for a good used one is a fair offer. would pay $20 for a standard dt one.

don't rule out the RT100 kickstart lever as it's even smaller again and tucks away super neat.
kicking over a 125/175 is a sinch, so i wouldn't see its size as a problem.
it definately fits the earlier YZ/DT/TY {up to '76'} engines but i'm not too sure about the monoshock DT's.
"flat bickie"

Genuine beats aftermarket - I specified genuine for a reason! :)

The DT levers don't fold in over the top of the cases like the YZ-D items do, but the DT ones don't get in the way either.

At $20 for a good used DT lever, I'd take a dozen.
