MONTESA FORKLENGTH, HELP!
« on: January 02, 2010, 08:27:39 pm »
Can anyone please help me with the length, from top of fork to front axel, on a 71/72 Montesa MX250 greytank. Probably about the same as the last of the old cappra's and first VR.

Thanks

My VR measures 787mm.  VR should have an extra inch of travel over the 63M.

Thanks, I need forks for mine and found a set that looks right. But it's only 700mm top to axel, so it's probably for a trialsbike then?

are these 35mm leading axle type?,50mm,is not much innit?,i measured mine in the "middle',sorta ride height, they would extend another 50mm to 800 (topout),700 sounds too short for trials?? :P
