TS125 meets long lost bro...
« on: December 07, 2009, 09:46:07 pm »
Amongst friends TS125MX finally meets his long lost bro, TS125 Feather Duster ;D

the Modesett up pipe bolted straight on..it was soooo easy!! 8)..mind you after the pipe was bolted on nothing else would fit back in place so there's been a bit of minor surgery. Worth the hassle?..no ::)

yes it is/was my TM/RM but there's another in the pipeline ;)

Very sweet looking bike :)

Is that an after-market reed valve on the RM cylinder? and is it a M or S cylinder, I just can't tell from the photo but it is an exotic looking TS with the RM/S head and, again I'm guessing, a TM frame. I can't quite see the tell tale horn mounts on the downtube brace that would give away the TS heritage but the angle of the photo may be hiding them too.

not that I am being critical in any way of the work as this looks like one fun Suzuki rocket-ship  ;D

trailie, yes, it is a TM125 frame ;) personally I prefer the TS frame but I didn't have a spare to use. The motor does have a ported RM125S top end, it also runs the RM gear clusters and ignition but it retains the original TS primary drive ratio. The reed is modified Hodaka Super Combat and the carb is an old school 34mm. Hopefully it will go like stink ;D performance wise, if it can hold a candle to the red TS in the background I'll be more than a little impressed! :) needs a nice fresh bore and a new pod filter to get things moving so there is a little way to go before it's a rider.
