Hello young pup,
                          my records show that the engine serial numbers on a 1979 CR250R ran from 2100006 to 2111817.
      so with out a picture, that would be my guess.
Do you have any other clues water cooled? air cooled? red or black in colour
Any how I hope this helps you young pup.
