PE 175 Frame, forks and wheels
« on: June 18, 2009, 07:33:13 pm »
God only knows what I'm doing with this thing (not bagging the type of bike, just the fact that I ended up with a roller!) but it's as described. Frame, forks and wheels. The frame does seem to be in fairly good cond even though it's been out in the cold longer than a 90's Boy Band. Forks are straight and seem to work ok but there is some chrome gone from around the triple clamp area. Wheels seem to be ok but just need a bit of TLC. I'd be pouring a bucket of Penetrine on the nipples to get 'em moving again (don't we all!) ;)
There's a rubber grommet thing that sits under the tank that seems ok as well.
Due to my good fortune in picking up my really good VR for a song, I'm going to spread the loving and offer this stuff gratis to whoever will cart it away. That's the deal though. You pick it up.   Located in sunny Ballarat.

Who ever picks it up, I've got the OEM manuals for the X and Z models that I've just found in my shed - PM for details.
