3 suspects leap to mind.
main seals, float-bowl wildly wrong (flooding), crap coils (spark dies under the slightest load).

more clues on behaviours, sounds, tests done so far, please!

Clarkey,

We finished our RM 125 C and it's been running extra fine. If you want the jet sizes etc. let me know.

OK, CYLINDER HAS HAD A PORT AND POLISH ( 20 YEARS AGO) AND POWER REEDS FITTED, STANDERD JET (240) AND PILOT, NEW COIL. THE ROD DID HAVE SOME MOVEMENT FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHEN I DID THE TOP END, NORMAL ?? I HAVE ALSO FITTED A FEW OTHER CARBS BUT THEIR IS NO DIFFERENCE. NOT SURE ABOUT FLOODING AS THE BIKE REVS FINE WHILE IDLE ??? I HAVE NOT TRIED A BIGGER MAIN JET YET, WILL GET ONE TOMORROW. PLUG LOOKS GOOD ??

have you looked at the gear box dose it select all the gears and still rotate when engine not running .try running it with the rear wheel of the ground and see if it  still stalls
