Alan Jones has finally taken delivery of his replica Monark frame from Sweden. Alan already has the genuine 1959 Monark 500 GP engine and had been waiting for the frame for over 12 months while it was being made on the original jigs by the original fifties/sixties frame builder for the Monark/Lito/Husky works bikes. Alans bike will be a replica of the 1959 works Monark and almost identical to Sten Lundins Lito featured on the cover of VMX#34. The engine sitting in the frame is a rare as shite Swedish Rickardson Speedway engine Al had also bought in Sweden that was placed in the frame for shipping.
