The track looks like it has alot of rythm sections and big table tops and step up etc.. Very AMA in my opinion.
What was the big sand track they raced on in 02 or 03? was it Leirop Holland or something like that? RC on a CR250 ate them all alive from memory on a real mx track.
Maico's, the only way to go.

How cool was that?  Probably the last big win for a two-stroke.

03 was the year, and it was near the old car racing track at Zolder.  Everts was expected to put up a bit of a fight, but it never eventuated.  This was in that time when GPs were single motos, so the Euros weren't really on his pace at all.

The last time they built a track that suited the Americans (Jerez, Spain 96), the beating handed out was ridiculous.  Lamson spanked everyone on his CR125 in the 500/125 moto.  McGrath led, fell off, led, fell off again and still won by a huge margin over Marnicq Bervoets (no slouch) in the last race.

I've had a look at the track maps, and it looks like this year's track will definitely suit the American-based riders.  If Reed is ever going to dominate an MXdN, it'll be this one.

NR555.The last time that they built a track to suit the Yanks was last year. Both motos Stewart was behind , pourcel in one and Phillipaerts in the other but he was doing the "wave section" better and eventually when he was close enough thats where he got past both times.
The year before that was on home soil so that doesn't count.
06 was a fresh made jump filled track that also suited the Yanks .They were looking awesome on the Saturday but it rained hard that night so that evened things right up allowing the Euros to keep the 3 moto wins to themselves.
05 Was Ernee - another fats jump track .
04 was a real Euro Sandy MX track - Lierop .The Yanks didnt go to that one.
03 was Zolder and RC won but Team Belgium beat team USA.

I remember Jordo coming back from the 03 at Zolder race and all he could say that RC was Farkin unbelievable..  Ridiculously fast. We went to the 06 AMA national at Glen helen which was RC's last ama national, and Villopoto put them all to shame IMO. His raw speed and level of confidence gave me tingles.. What a weapon..

Yer I heard that from Jordo too. Would have been great to see.03 WAS the year that Everts won all 3 class's in one day at Ernee (Ithink) so he was really good that year yet RC was even faster at MXdN.
I went in 06 when Everts rode through the mud like he was on rails to win the day over Stewart, not sure if he would have won if RC rode that one. :o
