Author Topic: Suz TS 250 steering damper (Read 2063 times)

Hi All

I'm building a Suzuki 1972 TS 250 into a pre-75 VMX mount. I ditched the 19" front wheel and the old style Suzuki forks and replaced them with some better period items.
The old forks had a steering damper fitted. That was worn out so it was ditched with the original forks. Do I really need to fit another?

Farmer58, ditch it..TM250's use the same frame geometry but they never had a steering damper

I think the postage would be a killer from Johannesburg Stew

I'm guessing they were older chrome steel lowered clunker forks and the ones you want came out on the K model and later

and I can assume it wasn't you (oldfart) who posted the $1275 winning bid on fleabay?
