The photos i posted earlier were obviously taken in 1992 at Ravenswood and Manjimup. After meeting with the U.S. riders and having the obligatory beers with them as well, we decided that we were all best buddies. Of course, later in the year the AFL grand final was on, and as you do, have a beer or forty at a well known vintage racers house who shall remain nameless( Brian Clarkes house), and some bright spark decided it was time to renew the friendship with our U.S friends. So a bunch of drunken Aussies called Mike Middleton to say hello... problem was a bit of time difference meant we were calling him about 4.00am his local time...i dont think he was amused. i wonder if Brian ever found out about that one?
The Manjimup pics are of Bayles factory 500, Everts factory 125, a English riders 250 Honda(cant remember his name, maybe Herring?), and the trick, big dollar race transporter used by the Kiwi team
