CR250M 1973 Murray Tainton

Murray bought this bike brand new after trading off the Montesa. He loved the bike but on his first outing he said he almost killed himself on it. He had a getoff and layed unconsciuos on the ground for 10 minutes before coming to.
He rode to success on it and enjoyed the Newry MX track most in that period.

MGB CR250M Transport! Apparently the MG was a good tow vehicle according to the owner. Probalby a chick magnet on the way to the track and at the track.

I remember the first time I ever saw the Elsinore in action was at Ravenswood ridden by Steve Cramer,it looked so good, then 20 years later I got the opportunity to ride one at the 94 Vintage Nats at Cherribah,it was horrible the footpegs felt like they were on the back axle and no reed valve, you had to take a run at the starting rubber band,

That's an MG midget or A.H. Sprite, all humping 1275cc of unbridled torque :P. Burdened by a further 500kg of bike and trailer I would doubted the description of "good tow vehicle" or 'chick magnet" ::) :P
