I know that it is a bit of late notice, but there will be a vintage (pre '85, air cooled , drum brakes) pony express held at Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands (west of Cairns) next weekend (26/7/09). It will probably only be of interest to guys like YZ250H & Bingil 6, but I have heard that John Boag may be in the area (after his trip to Cape York) & I may be looking a bike to ride & a team-mate. Any-one who has visited this area will know that it is dirtbike heaven, with rolling green hills (very much like NZ only warmer). I think that it is going to be about a 4 hour long event .
