Yamaha BW200??? Wanted dead or alive.
« on: August 01, 2009, 09:00:26 am »
Yes I know it's not a VMX bike. But it's a kooky bike that I want to add to my growing collection. they were produced from 1984 - 1986 from what I can gather. I'm interested in a bike or parts in any condition. Ill add a picture so you guys know what I'm talking about.

The big well huge problem with the BW was the two drive chains and jack shaft through the swing arm arrangement, the chains could not be adjusted and shit themselves post haste.(Study the photo above and tell me short of taking the hot axe to the swing arm how you adjust chain... you can"t)   The TW used the conventional two sprockets and one chain system.
Oh both handle like pregnant hippos on frozen duck shit . Cheers Tim

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
