Great photos Dennis!  And top shot of the ol' Fossil, captures his character perfectly :)  Shame the track chewed up so quickly, very unfortunate indeed. But there's still tomorrow so we'll all get to turn a few more laps with a bit of luck.

By the way, looks like that bloke that sold Danny the KTM must be having second thoughts eh?

Awesome to hear you still have such total contempt and disregard for the instructions Denny 8)

Life's too short to waist time reading all that shite ;D
Anyhow a mans not a man until he can come home with an Ikea flat pack, and throw the instructions straight in the bin  ;D

More cool photos. Tell ya what. Saturday was a bit of a write off but wasn't Sunday a hoot? The crew worked miracles Saturday evening and everyone faced up to a perfect track on Sunday morning. I was in the second race of the day (Pro 250s) and it was just the best surface, you could hook her in with no fears at all. Even though it became very dry and slick later in the day it never broke up at all and was wonderfully consistent. Some brilliant racing in the fast boys classes (I saw plenty of 19s on the grid!) and a fantastic rollup for the classic classes. Doesn't Corey Banks get that old XL500 moving eh? Sadly the #59 Glen Gall TT500 lost ignition and so we didn't see it in action on Sunday, but these things happen eh?  Good work from Mark B on the IT400, the old trail bike was getting along very respectably! Bad luck to Snowy taking a tumble off the CR250, hope the ribs heal up soon! And best wishes to the guy on the big Kwakka who went down hard (Gary Peake I think?)

My day was as near perfect as you could get. Beautiful sunny day, wandered the pits and had a few chats (heard some really neat insider info about the Suzuka 8-Hour from  Clarkey!), snoozed between races in the deck chair, watched some brilliant racing and had a few nice rides as well. Gated perfectly all day and only one mistake that I can think of, too hot into the first corner in the Over 45s final trying to get there ahead of those fast 450s.

After the mess on Saturday, Sunday really made up for it!

Dt 360 I think A bit of a sleeper this Bike ..

You are right about it being a bit of a sleeper it was asleep anywhere below about 4000rpm which meant giving the field about 50 headstart. >:(
But as it was its first run after an engine rebuild I guess some timing and jetting work is on the cards before the next race day.
Even though me and Ross left early it was still a great weekend.  ;)
Congratulations to the winners they had some difficult conditions but still rode the old rigs hard. ;D
If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.
