My nephew is preparing this 1972 montesa sidepiper for the National, does he need a Primary drive sprocket cover, when they never came out with one.

This is total original, my brother gave it to his son Ben, it has the genuine muffler in its box and Airbox housing. but to adapt a cover he will need to drill into the casing, and we don`t like doing that.

He will need the cover, but its acceptable to zip tie in an ice cream lid for the meeting and he should be able to do something without drilling holes. Its pretty easy to make something.

Remember the muffler as well, Im told that MA will be enforcing 12.8.3.1A

Nah, looks good allbrid, just whack a pair of Falta-style stickers on the tank....mind you, there's always the exposed countershaft sprocket question... ::)
Nostalgia's not what it used to be....
