Having just blasted all the crud and paint off my TM125 barrel I have noticed that the transfer ports have been enlarged to the point where the right port has broken through to the outside, close to where the lower bolt hole under the exhaust port is.

I am going to have to weld it up and remachine it all - DAMN IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How much difference to the way the engine performs does the work on the transfer ports have on these motors??? I seem to remember someone saying one was bigger than the other......mine are both about the same, with no obvious size difference......
Am I better off finding a replacment unmodified one?
Its not bad, been done very well apart from some over indulgence with the dremel in this area....
