On these bikes front brakes were actually an extra cost option."

It would have to be a Harley ::) ;D.

Some had extra bits tacked on the front loosely called a braking system, they was brakeless too..... ;)

I thought all Harlies had brakes. Everything breaks on them. Oh sorry you mean stopers. My mistake.
