Hey Marc!
I made my ca 10'th
"final retirement from racing last season. But as before the bug has caught me again, so I've been making a motocrosser of my -09 Husaberg
. So this has been taking som time away from my HL-project lately...
The frame is mostly finished, been making footpegbrackets, brakepedal, gearlever, chainrollers etc. There are some brackets for sidecovers and so on left to do.
I took the easy way on the exhaust and put in an order to GMC.
I'm on to the swingarm, made a rear chainguide and a roller on top of the rearsprocket.
I'm making the "bridge" between the arms on the swingarm now. It's a RM swingarm that's been widened about 2,5cm.
What I would really like to do is to grind down the ridge on top of the swingarm and weld on a bigger one to make the swingarm look fatter and more like a Hallman swing.
But I'm afraid it will become a "uncontrolled banana-swingarm" because of heat disformation
I'm planning a jig but I'm unsure if I dear to do it. I don't have alu-TIG equipment and don't have much experience with aluwelding.
