There is the proof that watercalling was available in 1977 in the form of a Shinobi watercooled head on Pat Richters RM125b.

JohnnyO, watercooling was around in '77 but I am not so sure that's a Shinobi head on Pat Richters bike. I had hands on experience with a nos RM125 Shinobi head last year and it looked totally different ;) I'll look for the pic of the head in question also soon as I get home 8)

I remember Richter racing that Rm125 but you may be right, it might be Fox's own version of a watercooled head. It does look bigger than what i remember a Shinobi. Didn't Doc have one for sale?

I'm 100% uncertain as to what Pat ran with but here is the Shinobi RM125 head picture  ;)
