Where is best place to shop for 35mm fork springs for mid '70's straight leg forks?

I would prefer something correctly rated to my weight.

Walter at YSS can sort you out as well, BUT before you go and whip out the plastic.
What is your static sag and rider/laden sag? Does it fit within the 10% static and 30% rider sag rule of thumb?

Ahhh Lozza.......my fork springs are totally sacked out 30 yr old originals.......forks sag about 2" under bike weight alone.

'75 Husky straight black legs.

One outfit in US list their 35mm spring as fitting  all the period fork makes.

The black leg Husky fork tubes are a thinner wall than silver bottom( I think so anyway) so I was wondering if usual springs for 35mm forks would "fit" correctly in the slightly larger tube id......or if springs for 36mm forks would fit this application better.

This Husky stuff is all new to me....just want a decent front end .

To even approach this goal you need to work out the correct spring weight BEFORE you buy any. Will be the same for any fork.Take the spring out measure free length, wire diameter and number of coils, a suspension place can then convert it to a weight, then you will be able to determine if these are the correct weight for you and your bike.
