I have read on the past answers to a similar problem with a YZ250H where the botom bolt underneath the forks spins. The answer was to make a T wrench using an old bolt I think it was 24 mm accross the flats. Anyway can someone please advise if it is the same proceedure for the 250 1979 model and oif so what size hex headed bolt (head) do i make it from? Thanks in advance for any light you' can shead on the subject.
Cheers Brett

if its a allen head bolt you should be
able to do it up or undo it with a air impact gun
without holding inner dampening rod
thats all i use works everytime
if its spinning pull the chrome slider away and hold tension
on it while you undo the bolt ;D ;D ;)
follow me to first turn

Thanks Holeshot and thanks Heaps DJ I actually did some searching and found the old thread after posting the topic, Found an old M16 SS Bolt with a 24mm head welded it to a bit of 16mm rod wacked it in the vice -BOBS your uncle worked a charm on both forks will now send it to my brother who is having the same drama with a it250'81 with 38mm forks. Bloody lovely kept me off the street tonite.
