Aluminium engine blasting
« on: March 16, 2010, 03:39:29 pm »
There are many schools of thought with this, so let have people ideas on the best way to blast bare aluminium engine cases and barrels etc that has minor white corrosion. I found this stuff on evilbay called wall nut shell has anyone used it before? I will soda blast the carbie, grit blast the frame but want the engine to look factory.

Hi Zorros. Have a look on page 87 of the photo's back on the Ning page. There is a photo of my Bultaco motor. I had the head HydroBlasted by Greg Wood here in Melbourne. His work is first class and priced very realistically plus he's a good bloke to deal with. Hope this helps. Cheers Jerry
