Hey TMBill,
I don't think Harry was on a Suzuki in '74. Not sure who it is!
VMX42

P.S. how is sunny Taupo?? Looking forward to CD6!!

Thats harry everts on the twin carb Puch , Harry won the 250 title on the Puch in 75 but developed it in the 74 250 GPs .
I think thats Gennady Moisiev in the blue shirt and helmet on the outside left.

Jeff Taupos all good  :) we booked our flights to CD6 and the nats yesterday  ;D

As much as I like the look of my old Sidi three stripers (long gone thanks to my late dad chucking them without telling me!) i wouldn't go back to them for quids. Likewise the old school helmets. The Sidi Techno-flex boots and modern Shoei helmets protect both ends of me very well and at the end of the day that gear is worn far more through the year than 'period gear'.

While I would like to look how I did in 1975 it's not practical. No more Bell Magnum, Jofa, Lambert leathers, Sidis and Golden Breed for me thanks !!! Let alone the transition gear - aka desert boots, GP boots footy jerseys etc etc - that was then and this is now.

There are enough 'rules' governing the sport without the fashion police kicking in, sorry.
