Benalla Vinduro

Can anyone confirm that the Benalla Vinduro is on March 8?
It's a long weekend over here and I'm about to turn down work if the event is on. That's a first for me!!
Will also make me pull my finger out and get the SP happening.
Thanks.  ;D

I think it's a 50/50 chance, you would need to speak to Drakie ( Peter Drakeford ) he is the event Coordinator, you can reach him on 0422 299 003 or 03 9684 0500  and then tell him all the good reasons to have it on  ;D , come on rain P*ss down about a week or 2 before the event.  :)

If you have it on Drakie, Granny Sue & Me will be there and we dont mind dusty conditions, nothing like a little grit in your teeth and that crusty smile you get happening  ;D

Cheers Mick & Granny Sue.

Thanks Mick.
Just spoke to Drakie and he's going out on Sunday to check out the property.
If it's not too dry & dusty, it will go ahead.
As an old Safari competitor, I'm happy in dust but mud scares the crap out of me...........  :D
So I hope it goes ahead no matter what.
I'll give him another call Sunday night and report back.

Just spoke to Drakie again and unfortunately the Benalla round won't go ahead in March as there's too much work that has to be done to the property. Lot's of virgin bush apparently.
However, the property will be prepared and kept as a back up if the last round in September gets rained out.

Oh well, I'll press on with the SP project and hopefully something else will turn up.

P.S. Never spoken to Drakie before, sounds like a good bloke that works hard for the sport.  ;D

Hey Drakie Sue & me would be happy to meet you there later in the year and help out with making that track, its not to far from us, plus it would be a good day or two out  :)

Cheers Mick & Granny Sue.

DVMCC will run a modern club enduro to cut the track in.
We usually accept one day memberships so if some ofyou guys are interested in coming along for the ride I will let you know.

Could be interested, so if you could post up the date and licence requirements that'd be great GMC.
