Those 2 bikes are expensive but they come with a stack of trick parts like the works forks and pipe, new genuine plastics etc. Just the TTX Ohlins shock alone is worth about $2500 so maybe it's not such a bad deal?

im sort of thinking the same as maico31. look at all the parts you get with them. i bet you can not go out and buy all that for that amount he is asking and if you were to try to do that, think of the costs of the overseas trips to search/buy those parts. i think its at the right price for the right person, and its not aimed at the budget VMXer or general KX500 nut. Who would want 2 though?

drop $10K or thereabouts off it I reckon - you can't really expect to recoup travel costs any more than the hard earned work you put into putting them together - probably was a holiday anyway!!!!

Would be nice but I agree - who can afford 2?

thats just it, the 25 G i dont think is including the overseas trips. i think it would be better to sell as 2 separate bikes with all trick/nos/works parts going to one bike and the other bike just as a pretty standard one that could go to someone who just wants a KX500 and not all the other stuff and a extra bike. But hey its not my sale, he's free to sell as he likes.

Thanks to all for their input, i guess bottom line is i dont really need to sell, dont really want to sell, i can continue with project any time in the future, will not de-value at all, could use money on other projects. Not making money, losing quite a bundle (you dont buy ex works parts for peanuts, and as i learned the hard way you dont trust courier companies to deliver, you have to fly and pick up yourself), but you cant put a price on unobtainable parts. Wont sell any parts or bikes seperate at all, not interested in mucking about selling this and that (sorry but have not replied to those who have emailed wanting to buy this or that), as stated by someone earlier in thread, not intended for a budget vmxer or budget kx freak. If someone wants to talk turkey, i'll sell, if not i'll keep. Difference with 125k maico man is if your serious, you can fly to Cairns for a couple of hundred bucks and inspect yourself. $25k is what the minimum this collection is worth to me, maybe not to others, but to those people this sale is not your cup of tea. Sorry if i sound arrogant, but just putting my point of view forward.
