TY175 with late model DT175 motor
« on: February 08, 2009, 05:26:14 pm »
Here are pictures of a TY175 that has been fitted with a DT175 motor (prefix 443). There has been some interest in hotted up TY175s in particular with chambers. This bike came with a chamber but not fitted and Í have only ridden it as in the photo with standard TY175JC exhaust.
A DT carby is fitted and it has a TY175 ignition system.

Post 4. The bike is not for sale. I'm posting this due to interest shown in the topic. I'm thinking about whether I want to sell the chamber or not.

thanks for the time taken with the pics... so have u ridden a bike with this chamber on it...to me it looks like it would have similar characteristics as the standard one..probably a big improvement but similar low down torque characteristics..id really love to know if anyone has fitted a pipe with the expansion chamber closer to the header.. more like a dt..thanks
